Important Notice About Coronavirus and COVID-19
To Our Patients:
As a dedicated health care provider, we are at all times committed to your health and safety. We also understand that you have concerns about the novel (new) coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, which has now been designated a global pandemic.
Our office has been closely monitoring the evolving situation. We are following the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and are taking a series of specific actions to protect our patients. These actions include the following special precautions:
Effective Monday March 23rd our surgery center will be temporarily closed for elective surgeries. We will evaluate this on a weekly basis to resume normal operations as soon as safely possible. Our office will remain open on a limited basis to accommodate patients who have had a recent surgery and need urgent follow up care. A team member will be contacting you if you have an upcoming appointment or surgery.
We are evaluating all non-urgent, non-critical appointments.
- We will be postponing non-urgent and non-critical appointments until it is safer to reschedule. This includes routine follow-ups and yearly exams. Our office will be contacting you to reschedule. If you need any medication refills, please contact our office or have your pharmacy fax a request for refills to 501-227-4813.
- If you have an immediate concern from a recent surgery, FaceTime and Skype appointments can be made to evaluate the need for an in-person appointment.
To Our New Patients
Virtual Consults will be offered via FaceTime or Skype. This will include addressing what procedures you will need to reach your goals. Quotes, financing and other payments options can be discussed as well. You will be required to come in for an in-person exam prior to your surgery. To request a consultation, please fill out the information on our contact page. Under the comments put “virtual consult” and a team member will reach out to you with further instructions.
As things change, we will adjust our policies and practices to respond appropriately to new developments. Rest assured that we are taking this outbreak seriously. We will continue evaluating developments and taking appropriate actions to reduce exposure and keep you safe.
