Mentor Corporation announces new Silicone Breast Implant Warranties
On October 6 2014 Mentor Corporation announced upgrades to its already great silicone breast implant warranties! For any patient who gets silicone implants placed after October 6, 2014 the new warranty will apply.
The warranty is available in two forms:
Basic- Warranty is included in the price of any implant automatically.
Enhanced -Warranty is available for an additional fee of $200 paid directly to Mentor after surgery.
In the BASIC FORM, the implants are covered for leakages for life. If one implant leaks, two implants are provided. In addition, in the first 10 years after augmentation financial assistance which can be used towards facility, anesthesia, and surgeon’s fees is available for up to $3500.

- Capsular Contracture
- Double Capsule
- Late Seroma
- If one implant leaks, two implants will be provided
