Caring for Your Skin After Tattoo Removal in Little Rock, Arkansas
While you can expect some redness, swelling, and discomfort after each treatment session, symptoms typically subside within a week and can be managed with a cool compress in the meantime.
To aid in the healing process and reduce the risk of infection, be sure to apply your antibacterial ointment and change your bandages regularly. You will be provided with specific instructions, but you may have to apply your ointment three times a day for best results.
In the weeks following each session at our Little Rock office, be sure to keep the treatment site clean, dry, and protected from sunlight. Wear loose-fitting clothing, apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher, and avoid picking at the treatment site. To allow your body to heal properly, we also recommend not smoking.
